    New leadership: The DGOU Presidents address the challenges of Orthopaedics and Trauma

    The German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma (DGOU) has come under new leadership. From 1 January 2020, Prof. Dr. Dieter C. Wirtz will take over the position of President of the DGOU. He is the director of the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Clinic at the University Hospital of Bonn. The role of deputy DGOU president will be filled by Prof. Dr. Michael J. Raschke, director of the department for Trauma, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery at the University Hospital of Muenster.
